How comps get ranked

Placements come from matchup results rather than from feeling. A comp sits in a tier when it beats most of what sits below it and trades fairly evenly with the comps beside it, so a fun duo with a bad win rate still ends up low on the list.

How often it updates

After every balance patch, and sooner if a hotfix clearly breaks something. The date in the strip at the top of each tierlist is the real last update, not the day the page was written.
